Linking funding of relief efforts to Columbia Gas
We’re bridging the gap between what people need and the utility’s effort to deliver and pay for it. We’re also helping ensure that funding is accessible and appropriately distributed, holding the utility accountable.
Working to switch homes to electric heat and hot water, so they don’t have to go back to gas they don’t want
Our ally, HEET, has a plan already in the works that can be accelerated and implemented. We have solutions, experts, and key players already involved!
Building our connections with allies
We’re in touch with community organizations and houses of worship in the Merrimack Valley, so we can better offer the help they need now. We’re also coordinating with allies like Mass Power Forward so we can all work together.
Stopping new gas infrastructure
350Mass and others are calling for a moratorium on new gas infrastructure in MA, including the proposed Weymouth compressor station. Stay tuned for more information on this.
We’re coordinating efforts, contacting decision makers, connecting with experts, and responding to media requests.
Using the relationships we’ve built with utilities.
We can move utilities in this critical moment to rebuild systems in the Merrimack Valley for the transition to renewable energy—and then to do the same for all of us.
