Paints and Protests -- Kid Artists Welcome! Feb. 23

Mothers Out Front is hosting a "protest painting party" at the Fox Library Community Room on Sunday, February 23, 4pm-5:30pm. Bring your young artists to paint signs in advance of our Bank of America protest, on February 29 [details TBD].

Bank of America is a major funder of climate change and a particular big funder of pipeline-builder Enbridge. Enbridge is building fossil fuel infrastructure, including the dangerous, unjust, and unnecessary Weymouth compressor station that Governor Baker and the Mass DEP have done their level best to look away from while granting Enbridge the go-ahead. So we are following the money and highlighting Bank of America's indifference to environmental health.

We'll supply the paints and some cardboard for signmaking, as well as juice and cookies for hungry artists. If you have some large cardboard (any big boxes around?) please bring it and contribute to the pile!

We'll share info about the history of this fracked-gas infrastructure project while we all make art.
