Mothers Raise Their Voices for #BostonCCE

Boston Mothers Out Front Jamaica Plain sparked a Twitter Storm on Mother's Day and the campaign continues! Thank you to everyone who participated!

Boston CCE was passed unanimously by our Boston City Council and signed by Mayor Walsh in the fall of 2017. However, it STILL hasn’t been implemented.

We want to thank Mayor Walsh for CCE and let him know how important it is to us to implement it now.

What is Community Choice Energy?

Community Choice Energy (CCE), also known as municipal aggregation, will increase Boston’s clean energy portfolio by 5% and help Boston reach its goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2020. It is an easy way to increase renewable energy use in Boston because there is no change to your electricity provider or the billing process. You turn on the lights and you are using 5% more clean energy.
