Arlington, Mothers Out Front Recognized by MassEnergy for Community Choice Aggregation Plan
As detailed in a recent Arlington Advocate article, MassEnergy recognized Mothers Out Front and Arlington for their work in adopting the Community Choice Aggregation Plan, which enabled Arlington residents to obtain renewable energy at lower rates than standard, non-renewable energy.
On November 6, Anne Wright and Carol Chamberlain from Mothers Out Front Arlington, and Adam Chapdelaine, Arlington's Town Manager, accepted Mothers Out Front and Arlington's recognition as a "Sustainable Energy Leader" at the MassEnergy 35th anniversary celebration at the Langham Hotel in Boston. About 125 people attended the event. The award will be displayed at Arlington Town Hall.
