Hi! I am interested in what it takes to start a group in my town. Do you have any kind of resources or a “start-up kit” of sorts? What are the requirements for groups? Trying to gauge if this is something I can reasonably take on! Thank you!

    Hello!

I began my career in the home organization industry as a professional house cleaner, which involved a LOT of decluttering. Over the years, I’ve helped my clients get rid of everything from old mattresses to outdated electronics to entire closets worth of clothes.

Luckily, we don’t have to haul it off to the dump anymore. There’s a way to recycle just about everything!

I’d like to write an article for your readers about how to declutter their homes the eco-friendly way. The article is totally free. In it, I can talk about a variety of issues, including:

Recycling the big stuff – How to keep bedding, electronics, and appliances from ending up in the landfill.

Upcycling – How to make old items new again and bring in some cash through the second-hand economy

Going digital – How to minimize clutter by scanning photos and embracing “the cloud.”

Green cleaning – How to choose cleaning products that are actually clean and are good for the environment.

If you’re open to receiving an article, please let me know.

    Thank you for your consideration,

    Alice Robertson

Do you know of any natural gas leak detection meters we could buy that would be both accurate and easy to use? We will loan them out to students to create geo-maps of leaks in older north carolina towns.

    Hey again!

    Ten Real-Life Lessons from Soccer

I’m putting this in our neighborhood association’s next newsletter to get everyone pumped up about our new youth soccer team. Again, have at it if you’d like to add it to one of your pages. I found your site while I was on the hunt for some information on this sport. I’m excited to watch my daughter play, but am generally oblivious to the game, which I’m sure will change very soon!

    Thanks,

    Luke

Is the Gasleak Tagging event on May 12 at St Mark’s Square or Coolidge Corner? The Newton and Brookline websites don’t agree. Is it at both?

    Hi,

I have been to a few mothers out front events and I am a Lexington Resident.

I have been working with a local family foundation that is helping support conversation on climate change.

We have supported the WGBH NOVA program that is coming up in April. A two hour special on climate change. Show is called “Decoding the Weather Machine”. I was wondering if Mothers Out Front could let members know about the show being funded by Lexington resident and inform them about an event at Harvard Science building this Wednesday for a Preview/discussion with the Producers and Director. https://college.harvard.edu/pre-release-preview-discussion-decoding-weather-machine.

Science Center Lecture Hall C, 1 Oxford St., Cambridge

    Wed., Apr. 4, 2018, 5:30 – 7 p.m.

    Thanks! Ben Ives
