100 local Massachusetts Boards of Health representing more than 50% of the population of the Commonwealth have expressed concerns about the human health risks of “natural” gas use and infrastructure. Boards have written to Governor Baker asking that Comprehensive Health Impact Assessments be completed before approving new “natural” gas pipelines, compressors, and storage facilities.
