Coffee, Campaigns, and Collective Action 03/18/2021

Today’s Coffee, Campaigns and Collective Action meeting will be focused on Compost and will be led by Deane Coady and Louise Bowditch, coordinators of the new Zero Waste campaign team.

We’ll be using our time together to launch a two-week Curbside Compost Contest to encourage people to sign up for curbside compost service and so we can learn about the barriers to curbside composting. One lucky Brookline household will receive six months of curbside compost service FREE plus a FREE starter kit that includes a green bin and compostable bags! These items have been generously donated by Black Earth Compost. We’ll share more details about the contest on Thursday, but you can preview a few of the contest images below.
