Boston City Council CCE Hearing - Oct 3rd!

Community Choice Energy, also known as municipal aggregation, would increase Boston’s clean energy portfolio by 5% and help Boston reach its goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2020. It is an easy way to increase renewable energy use in Boston because there is no change to residents’ electricity provider or billing process, and if residents don’t want the additional clean energy plan they can opt out of it.

We want to pack the hearing room with mothers and show our support for a clean energy future for our children!

Act today:

  • Plan to attend the hearing and RSVP below.

  • Share the Facebook event on your own Facebook pages and send to your email lists.

  • Learn more about CCE.

  • Email or call (617-635-4500) Mayor Walsh and tell him you support Community Choice Energy.

  • If someone from the Mayor’s re-election committee calls, tell them you want the Mayor to support CCE.

On October 3rd:

  • Grab your t-shirt and show up to Winter Chamber (26 Court Street, Boston, MA 02108), even if it is only for 10 minutes.

  • Bring other mothers who support increasing renewable energy use in Boston.

  • If you can’t be at the hearing (or especially if you are!) -> Join us to Tweet the Mayor.
