Sept 27 Bedford Chapter Meeting on Composting
Please RSVP to receive the zoom link!
When we remove food scraps from landfills through composting, we reduce the release of methane gas, which is a major contributor to climate change, and we create nutrient rich soil to grow healthy food and sequester carbon. Join us for a discussion about composting: at home, in your neighborhoods, with private curbside pick-up, and advocating for town wide curbside pick-up. Bedford's Frances Bigda-Peyton and Janet Powers will share the research and experience they have been gaining as part of the new Mothers Out Front Healthy Soil Livable Future Action Group. Join us to learn how you can take some easy steps that will help us grow a beautiful and healthy future for all.
